Fire Door Inspection, Certification & Remediation
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Building Safety Act 2022 place clear obligations on responsible persons to ensure fire doors are inspected, maintained and certified. Non-compliance carries serious legal risk — and compromised fire doors cost lives.
EHL's FDIS qualified inspectors provide independent fire door inspection, full written certification and where needed, remediation works — bringing doors back to compliance without the need for full replacement. We work with commercial landlords, property managers, housing associations, healthcare facilities and educational establishments.
Every inspection results in a detailed written report with photographic evidence, defect grading and recommended actions. Reports are issued promptly following inspection.
